Martin Holmes
I'm a 22 year old writer, or I suppose I should say 'aspiring writer', from Hull, England. I have a BA degree in English and Creative Writing. My ultimate passion is television script writing, specifically sitcom, and I have been making progress recently with various scripts, and I'm in contact with the BBC and an independent production company.
As well as writing for television, I also love writing about television, and film. I'm a huge comedy aficionado (aka comedy nerd), being a fan of shows such as Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, Seinfeld, Arrested Development, Alan Partridge, The Day Today, and many many more. I also love great drama series such as The Wire, The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Dexter, and Deadwood. As far as film goes, I'm a big fan of the work of Charlie Kaufman and David Lynch.
